Hi, We are planning to move to Nashville / Brentwood area next month. I was wondering if there are any Kannada / Marathi / Hindi speaking folks in and around that area? And which apartments do you live in? My husband will be working in Brentwood. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Sri, Thanks for your inputs and pointers. I will check out Britishwood community. I guess Brentwood / Franklin areas are well known for their school districts, and hence costly. We dont have kid yet, so need not worry about that. So, we are looking for low rent area but with good Indian community so that we can make friends :) Thanks once again, and please let me know if you have any other community in mind.

Obviously Brentwood area and franklin are costly , when you compare to other places. There are other apts in the same area but price was the same may be 50$ plus or minus. if you are willing to compromise abt indian community...Britishwoods apts on murfreesboro pike is far best apts in nashville. They won't hike price like preserve do every year. I stayed in brtishwoods for 4 years. Wonderfull managment well maintained and cheap. Security top notch. In the 4 years i stayed nothing happend. i paid 815 dollars for townhome ,2bed 2bath 1200sft . Its just 6 miles to Preserve. and there are some indian families living. Schoolzone is not good for britishwoods apts. so many indianS are ataying in britishwoods too.

Hi Sri, Thanks for the pointer. I checked Preserve at Brentwood, but the apartments are a bit on expensive side for us. Are there any more reasonably priced ones around? Thanks for the help once again :)
